Item Options

This is a database of all Options available when creating an item in Mythic Mobs. They are put under the Options:-tag inside item-configurations.

Universal Options

These options are applicable to all items:

Repairable: [true/false] (2.4.1)

  • Sets the repair cost of the item to maximum, making it completely uneditable in anvils and/or enchantment tables.
  • Will override the RepairCost option.
  • Defaults to false.

RepairCost: [number] (2.4.1)

  • Sets the repair cost of the item.

Unbreakable: [true/false]

  • Sets the unbreakable tag on the item.
  • Items with this set to true will not lose durability.

Playerheads

Only applicable to playerhead type items:

Player: [name]

  • Sets the texture of the player head.
  • [name] must be the IGN of the target player.
  • Player heads must use data value 3 for this to work.
  • Examples:
    • Player: Herobrine

SkinTexture: [url]

Dyeable Items

Color: [R,G,B] OR [DyeColor]

  • Dyes the armor piece to a color according to Red, Green, Blue settings. 0-255
  • Alternately can use a predefined color. Found here.
  • Can pick colors using the Paint program on Windows. Open it up then choosing “Edit Colors”
  • Only usable on leather armor type and banners.

Deprecated Options

Damage: [number]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 1)
  • Sets the damage for the item when used as a melee weapon.
  • Does not increase bow “ranged” damage nor does it stack to add a “damage bonus”
  • Must use this option to give non-weapon ID's the ability to do damage (stick, blaze rod, etc)
  • Can be whole number or a decimal (0.5)

FollowRange: [number]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 2)
  • Sets the FollowRange Attribute for the entity equipping the item.
  • Only affects mobs.

Health: [number]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 3)
  • Adds player health to the item.
  • Can be whole number or a decimal (0.5)

HideFlags: [true/false]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 4)
  • Hides all flags on the item
  • Includes enchants and attribute-based flags.
  • Defaults to false.

KnockbackResistance: [number]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 5)
  • Adds a chance to resist knockback from mobs.
  • Number between 0 and 1.
  • 0 = 0% 1= 100%
  • Can still be knocked back with 100% resistance by knockback enchantments, explosions, etc.

MovementSpeed: [number]

  • Deprecated as of version 2.4 6)
  • Additional movement speed.
  • 0.01 = +1 % or 0.25 = +25%
