Q: I want to configure random spawners to replace normal mobs entirely. Why do regular mobs still spawn sometimes?!
A: This is normally because you have configured your random spawners with a combined chance of 100% to replace but this is not actually how it needs to be done.
While in theory 100% combined chance for multiple spawners should work, the random number generator does not always work this way. You instead need to create 2 separate priorities, with the lower priority having a single spawner at 100% chance.
